For one thing, at 23, he plays way too many videogames. He also has a competitive streak when it comes to everything that borders on sheer immaturity. He was nice when he needed to be, but unnecessarily mean sometimes too. In fact, he reminded me of young boys back in elementary that would tease the girls they like, because that's how they show affection. He also kept looking at my chest way too much.
Nick is certainly a sweet piece of eye candy, but this "date" has made Mike seem like God's gift to women. The total package. More or less everything I look for in a guy.

ReplyDeleteYep. Throw in a little surfer/stoner in the mix and you're all set. Total bummer! At least I can say I made a new cute friend, even if that's all he'll ever be.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read it didn't work out, but it's for best to find out these type of things before getting deeply involved with someone. He did you a favor by showing his true colors early.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree. I'm glad that at least now I know what he's really like so more of our time wouldn't have been wasted. I haven't heard from him since, so maybe he got the idea that there wouldn't be a second date lol.
